Privacy Policy

We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use this Service. No registration, login, email address, or payment information is ever collected.

The following information may be collected automatically when you visit:

• IP address — used solely to detect your approximate country for showing regionally relevant trending channels. This is processed in-memory during your request and is not stored in any database.
• Browser and device type — collected via standard server logs for security and performance monitoring. Logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.
• Pages visited and referrer — collected in aggregate (not tied to an individual) to understand which features are most useful.

SocialStatsIQ uses the YouTube Data API v3, provided by Google LLC, to retrieve publicly available channel statistics such as subscriber counts, view counts, and upload counts. By using this Service, you also agree to YouTube’s Terms of Service and acknowledge Google’s Privacy Policy.

We do not access, store, or transmit any YouTube user credentials or OAuth tokens. All data retrieved from the YouTube API is publicly accessible channel information — the same data visible on any YouTube channel page.

SocialStatsIQ does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is displayed because we have nothing to consent to.

Your browser may store standard session data (e.g., for Next.js routing), but this data is not used for tracking or profiling and is cleared when you close your browser tab.

Because we collect no personal account data, there is nothing to “delete” in the traditional sense. Server access logs (IP address, timestamp, pages visited) are automatically purged after 30 days by our hosting provider, Vercel.

This Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove it.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
• Right to restrict processing — ask us to stop processing your data.
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to object — object to our processing of your personal data.

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). We follow industry best practices for web application security, including Content Security Policy headers and dependency auditing. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy whenever you use the Service.
